The Retreat

Come for days, not hours

The best records aren't made between load-in and curfew. They're made when the band lives inside the record for a while.

The Lockout

Book the dome lockout-style and it belongs to you. No other sessions, no teardown, no resetting the drum sounds every morning. Mics stay up. The rough mix from last night is still on the console in the morning. You stay on site, thirty feet from the live room. All you have to do is wake up, brew coffee, and get back to work! This is the true benefit of destination studios. You have the time and the space to become the art yourself. Forty minutes from an international airport, without the insane price tag.

Life at the dome

What the days feel like.

🚐

On-site stay

Sleep where you record. Wake up thirty feet from the live room and keep the momentum going.

🌅

Desert mornings

Coffee outside, mountains going pink, yesterday's rough mix in your headphones.

🍳

Kitchen & hang

Cook, hang, argue about the bridge — the spaces between takes are where records get finished.

🌌

Dark-sky nights

Stargazing that city bands don't believe until they're standing in it. It ends up in the mixes.

👻

Ghost-town country

The dome sits in old Nevada — mining-camp history, a century-old saloon down the road, real West quiet.

🐕

Head of Vibes

Valentino the dalmatian makes the rounds. Morale has never dipped on his watch.

Retreat Questions

Asked from the road.

Is this really a residential studio?

Yes — on-site accommodation is the core of the place. Book the dome for a run of days and stay for all of them. That's the difference between visiting a studio and living in one.

What's a lockout, exactly?

The studio is exclusively yours for the duration — no other clients, mics stay up, sounds stay dialed. You lose zero time to setup and teardown, which is usually a full day saved on a week-long booking.

How many people can stay?

A typical band-sized crew fits comfortably. Tell us your headcount and dates in the inquiry and we'll confirm the arrangements.

What should we bring?

Your songs, your stage clothes for the content day, and whatever instruments you can't live without. The house rig covers the rest — many bands fly in with guitars and pedalboards only.
