These terms apply to sessions, stays, and remote work at The Dome Collective. They're confirmed in writing with your booking. If anything here doesn't suit your project, tell us.
A booking is confirmed when we've agreed dates in writing and received the deposit — 50% of the quoted fee. Until both happen, dates aren't held.
The remaining balance is due on the last day of your session, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Payment is by card through a secure link we send you. We never see or store your card details.
Quotes are for the work described. If the project grows — extra days, extra songs, more people staying — we'll re-quote before doing the work, not after.
Things outside anyone's control — wildfire, flood, road closure, power loss, serious illness — aren't anybody's fault. We'll reschedule you without penalty.
You do. All of it, outright. Every recording, mix, master, stem and session file made for your project belongs to you.
We claim no ownership, no publishing, no royalty, no points, and no rights of any kind in your music. We won't licence it, sell it, or use it in anything without your written permission.
A studio credit is always welcome and never required.
We shoot around the studio — the room, the gear, the process — and we may use photos or video from your session on Instagram, YouTube, and this website.
You can opt out at any time, and we'll respect it without argument. Tell us before, during, or after your session. Say "don't post anything," or "don't shoot at all," or "not the new songs" — whatever you need. If something's already up and you want it gone, we'll take it down.
If you're working on an unannounced release, tell us at the start and we'll keep it off the internet by default.
The same works in reverse: you're welcome to film your own session and post whatever you like of it.
We keep the exact location off the public map on purpose. You'll get the pin, directions and load-in notes once your booking is confirmed.
We ask that you don't publish the address — no geotags on the pin, no posting the street on a public account. Tell your bandmates, your driver and your label. Not the internet.
Multi-day bookings can include staying at the dome. If yours does:
Damage beyond normal wear gets billed at cost. We'll show you photos and the repair invoice — we're not going to guess a number.
Bring what you like. Your equipment is your responsibility while it's here, and it isn't covered by our insurance — if it's valuable, check your own policy before you load in.
Our gear is maintained and insured. Accidents happen and we don't bill for them. Damage through misuse or negligence is chargeable at repair or replacement cost.
We'll agree start and end times with your booking. Sessions that run long are usually fine — tell us early in the day and we'll sort it. Unplanned overruns past midnight are billed at the day rate pro rata.
If you're running late, message us. We'd rather know.
Send us stems and we'll work on them here. For remote projects:
We keep session files for 90 days after final delivery, then they may be deleted to make room. If you want them archived longer, ask — we'll usually say yes.
Keep your own backup. We're careful, but we're a recording studio, not a data centre. Never let the only copy of your record live on someone else's drive.
Our liability for any booking is limited to what you paid us for it. We're not liable for indirect losses — missed release dates, lost income, cancelled tours.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force on the day you confirmed it.
